To mark our 60th anniversary, we extend our sincere employee recognition to Cindy Jones for her exceptional 40-year tenure. Cindy joined the Bachly team in 1982 working in a model home in Pottageville, Ontario, as “Girl Friday”. Though an outdated term, her responsibilities entailed general office duties such as answering phones, typing estimates and invoices (yes, this was done on a typewriter), and additional administrative duties.
Scott Bachly (CEO) and the team spearheaded expansion into custom home building and commercial construction. Consequently, Cindy was promoted to her current role as Office Manager. In this role, she not only manages general office duties but also oversees new personnel. Furthermore, she assumed a wider range of responsibilities. While Cindy primarily supports our Property Damage & Restoration division, she also contributes to all three divisions. Indeed, her work spans a variety of tasks. For example, she handles vehicle management and online billing. Additionally, she manages company insurance and invoicing. In short, Cindy’s daily duties are constantly evolving and adapting to the needs of the company.
Our boutique company, despite its 100+ employees, fosters a close-knit, family atmosphere, which Cindy truly values. She particularly enjoys the sense of pride she derives from her work. Moreover, the constant challenges keep her engaged and motivated. Additionally, Bachly has become a central part of Cindy’s life. Here, she has built strong, enduring friendships.
